An influencer doesn’t always get direct pay for funny memes on their social media account but it contributes to their presence/status which is what enables monetization.
What you’re doing isn’t as clear cut as you assume.

I mean it’s destroying some hardware using rare earth metals. Nvidia or not lol
I’m tempted to give the actual theological answer here but I have a feeling it will not be well received lol

I am not someone who would go out of his way to defend brave, but Fox is out there defending all these fucking AI companies stealing from artists all goddamn day and now they have an issue when the chickens come home to roost? They can go fuck themselves
I think the word you’re searching for is “petty.”
I more mean why are you hanging around if you believe this place to be an echo chamber? I don’t hang out at bars with shitty cultures. If I feel I’m in a particularly echo chamber-y community I often leave.
If I believed this was all an echo chamber I wouldn’t stuck around.
I am against crypto mining but as long as you’re being even semi-reasonable those GPU’s are not taking a beating. It’s a consistent power/heat output for long stretches which is far better than rapid swings like with gaming and heavy rendering
Then why are you here?
Google bricks their chrome casts “by accident,” HP bricks their printers “by accident.” Lots of accidents these days companies wanting more sales it seems 🤷♂️
Yeah that’s probably why
As someone who defends Firefox: Good. Firefox needs better competition and to think long and hard about its relationships now. Google search was acceptable because of google’s absolute dominance. That money was basically survival for a long time. Now? Figure it out Mozilla 🤷♂️
I’m all for piracy but the moment you start charging for the content you’re part of the problem and colossally stupid.
Edit: reading it again and it’s actually unclear how exactly the “service” works. I don’t know why I initially thought it definitely involved payment
Best response in the thread lol
I feel like whiplash is cheating but you right lol
Very fair point. Random ass social media accounts watermarking shit they didn’t even make. Reddit is terrible about that by default.
