Dry herb vaporizers 👍
Yeah a lot of people will write it off after trying with crappy cheap devices. But if you try a high end heavy hitter there is no going back.
I’ve been very curious about dry herb vaporizers, but I’ve mostly heard negatives online. What kind of price floor are we talking to get a good one? Is there a brand you swear by?
The cheapest one that is actually pretty decent is the “Xmax V3 Pro”.
If you are willing to splurge then the “Storz & Bickel Mighty” and the “Tinymight 2” are great options
I don’t like recommending the brand I use because the owners are right wing dip shits but I use cannabis hardware VROD injection ball vape through my glass pieces. You can apparently make your own diy these days called a “pinkie”.
For portable I like the tinymight. There are probably better options out there now though.
For the desktop vape I mentioned first it was about $500 or so and I think the portable I mentioned second was $300.
I started with a dynavap, purchased an elev8r by elev8 three or four years ago and haven’t looked back
I have a mighty and sometimes its rough on my lungs. Some people are just sensitive :/
What temperature do you use? Going above 185C I also get that occasionally, but I find that 185C already gives me very good extraction so I don’t see a need to go higher anyways
I start at 180 and gradually increase to 210 to extract everything
Yeah, at 210C that is nothing out of the ordinary

Why am I being downvoted? Edibles were by far better than burning up my lungs when I used to partake. Interferes with my meds nowadays.

it’s also gives you fantastic control over dosage and quality. i grow my own flower and make my own edibles and i think i’ve perfected the right recipes that work through trial and error and it was kinda fun doing it too.
it taught me that i need more hobbies in my life and now i’m pursuing creating a brand new daily driver linux laptop to that end.

I make a batch of 35-40 cookies and have the dosage & timing down pat.
i need to make mine sugar free and i’m transitioning into a plant based diet so it works well for me too.
Mine are vegan & there isn’t any skunkiness…I have to keep them clearly labeled in the freezer after I make them because you cannot tell the difference.
how do you get the skunkiness out?
So I use about 1g of bud, not the shake for about 350g of butter for the recipe. Turns out more consistent, especially for dosages (works out to about 2.5mg per cookie).
That and my cookies are amazingly good.
Caramels work well for me.

245 is the target temp. Only hot enough to burn my hand

I find with edibles you have no control. I don’t like it. Hardly ever, these days, I feel comfortable enough to be completely blitz with no turning back.
Gummies are incredibly easy to make. I just made a batch 2 days ago that are sitting in my counter drying before I put a powdered sugar on the outside of them and stick them in the freezer. I use moulds so that I know EXACTLY how much I’m dosing. And the best part? I’m not destroying my lungs by any means.
