Lol I had bitcoin back in the day when I bought 100mg of thc gummies for what would be today 200k in bitcoin. Don’t act like we were clairvoyant on its rise. Most people wanted it to go from USD to BTC and back within the day as a conduit for illegal affairs. No one who held on to a large amount was some market forcaster half the time they just forgot about. I was mining back then aswell before assics no one in that mining community was of the attitude that it was an investment they just knew the current price did the math and thought they could turn a profit, only saving any when frankly their profit went to negative and they decided to sit on it and pray.
I just find it funny that you frame it as people had some grand plans from the get go. No we were all young kids selling and buying drugs trying to grift while it was profitable. The early silk road fourms basically looked like wall street bets.
Im now an adult and I own 0 crypto besides whats been lost to a forgotten password. Its entire utility erroded away the moment exchanges gog audited from IRS and people need to stop pretending it was/is something its not.
