Lots of video games contain root kits labeled as “anti-cheat” that run at ring 0 of your computer, even more access than the OS.
Yes they take info, and it has access to everything.
Again, non of those have been legally banned in the US.

Tik Tok is the only tencent company I know if that’s been labeled a national security risk.
