minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilinkEnglish5•4 days agoYeah, his ass. If you stop adding energy then it stops getting hotter. Food keeps cooking cause the water in the food is hot and that keeps the food cooking for a bit. But it doesn’t KEEP getting hotter.
The water continues to heat ~1 minute after microwaving stops, so I guess it could happen if you take it out very close to the boiling point.
