English just happens to be exceptionally malleable and fun to play with, compared to most other languages including my native Danish 🤷

minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink1•2 years agoSome aspects of it, such as the fact that the only way to know the en/et of nouns is to already know, indeed suck but I wouldn’t say the language as a whole sucks. It’s an ok language, English is just a much better one 🤷
