I’m bummed because not all NSFW is porn. If I didn’t have to see a thinly blurred image of a spread eagle lady surrounded by several… members… and yeah, let’s just say the blurring doesn’t do anything.
Also, I don’t want to run into CP or bestiality but I’d like to be able to see posts with foul language or anything related to the news…
Honestly reddit, and now Lemmy, is missing NSFW categorization. Some people don’t mind swearing or nudity, but don’t want to see gore and/or porn. It might be wise to implement some kind of categorization system. It could also give instances more flexibility in what kind of content they wish to federate.
