I only ask because I did not see any pinned posts or discussions about an app being developed and released, it was surprising.

    Some browsers notice that a site can work as a progressive web app and offer to install it automatically.

        It’s asking to make it a web app.

        Basically, it just adds an icon to your home screen which opens up Beehaw’s mobile site as if it were a regular non-browser app (so fullscreen, no tabs, address bar, etc.).

    It is not real–currently there are Lemmy apps, which you can use to log on to Beehaw, but no official Beehaw app itself. Some apps I use currently are Connect, Wefwef, and Jerboa.
