Naja ich bezweifel irgendwie dass viel Interaktion von Threads auf Lemmy stattfinden wird, wenn geht es denke ich eher um den umgekehrten Fall dass Leute aus dem fediverse gerne Leuten auf Threads folgen wollen würden. Bisher sehen wir aber große machtmissbräuche durch deförderieren noch nicht, diese gegen die eigene Community durchzusetzen wird den Instanzen auch eher schaden, die Nutzer können ja jederzeit gehen sie hält dort ja nichts

Wieso sollten sich die Instanzen die Meta blockieren von den Instanzen deföderieren die es nicht tun?

Well you still choose the instance your on. Don’t use one from an uknown party. If you can, just host it yourself, it’s not very demanding. But I find signal to be much simpler to introduce to your parents for example, just because it’s like Whatsapp and just works.

I just told my parents if they want to contact me they have to use signal, because I deleted Whatsapp. That worked pretty well
