minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink4•5 months agoUnless stored in some unusual way, the nut oils would almost certainly have been rancid. Not very healthy for you, but wouldn’t give you food poisoning. Salt can hide the taste of rancid oils.

Unless stored in some unusual way, the nut oils would almost certainly have been rancid. Not very healthy for you, but wouldn’t give you food poisoning. Salt can hide the taste of rancid oils.
