minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink8•9 days agoWelcome to lemmy :3 A few tips: If you’re coming from Reddit know karma here isn’t a thing and nobody really cares how many likes you get If you want a great mobile client I reccomend Thunder You will see a lot of Linux users and Queer people (with overlap), also expect to see a lot of :3 Unless you set up filters in the settings except to see a lot of political content If you want some memes I reccomend [email protected] and [email protected] If you just want to post cat pictures feel free :3

minus-squareGloomylinkfedilink1•8 days agoNot Safe For Work, mostly nudity, sometimes violence. I don’t know where you are doing the switching on or off part. I do this over my app (Boost), where I have to turn it on (show NSFW content) to see it.

minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilinkEnglish2•edit-28 days agoJust like Reddit, depending on the instance you join Lemmy allows for pornographic & gore content to be posted. I would suggest logging into your instance, in this case for you it’s https://sh.itjust.works/, and navigate to your profile to turn NSFW content off.

Great, thanks for the help
