The volume of the cans are different and the price was $1.25 for the tall one. The shorter one is $1.09.

The calorie thing is another odd one because the tall one says 75g 39g of sugar but the short says 34g.

I know they make different volumes for this so I was thinking it could be a local store order mistake.

The Powerade thing I mention is that they did the same thing 10 years ago (correct me if I’m wrong) where Powerade was 32 oz and changed them to 16 oz but kept them same price.

Edit: I’m dyslexic today apparently. Changed 75g to 39g

It appears the ingredients are different between the two cans.

The smaller one has corn syrup, ace k, sucralose and preservatives. The bigger one has cane sugar. The smaller one is both more calorie dense and carb dense.

473ml has been a standard size for a long time. That’s not shrinkflation, that’s two different sizes.

    That said, fuck Coke

At first I thought it was just a different size but I think it’s more shrinkflation. If the gas station changes theirs to this size then it definitely is.

I’m pretty close to saying fuck Coca-cola as well.

In the US it’s by serving size, which is a non-consistent unit of measurement. They are supposed to say how many mL one serving is, however. But that leaves you to do all the math yourself.
