If you are comfortable with the command line, mbsync / isync allow you to save your mail offline with the ability to search and read it later on. You can use a cron job to fetch the email however often you want it.
If you use emacs, you can set up gnupg integration for easy encryption and decryption of files.
I would also read up on expiration of keys, and how you can export (backup) and import a key. The latter can also be useful if you want to use the same key on multiple devices.
i have a 2017 lg 5k monitor (same goofy software trick) that works with ubuntu x11
I have also implemented it in emacs. It is awesome.

There are a lot of shit people in this world. Try to minimize your interactions with them. Don’t waste your energy on them.
I guess the transaction and exchange fees don’t scale with the inflation of the currency. The exchange server may also have a minimum starting fee.
I am pretty sure lineage os does get regular updates on my oneplus 3t.
They are asking for recent papers. Sci hub only has payers published before 2022.
I havent looked into these other formats because maildir works for me. I can saxe local backups, remoxe mail from the serveg, and even put it back later. All plain text.
Look into isync / mbsync in combination with maildir utils (mu/mu4e) or notmuch.
More on why the update is not on F-Droid yet here: https://github.com/meditohq/medito-app/issues/195#issuecomment-1790255585
Actually, wash your hands before you pick your nose to minimize the risk of infections, etc.
Why the emacs hate?
Can you provide any source that it was created or initiated by what you call ‘a crazed bunch of emacs zealots’, or that the goal was to ‘unsurp the rightful position of “man”’. Quite bold statements that are unlikely to be true imho.
you can’t demand people to change, it has to come from within. you can only talk to them and try to change their point of view. that certainly may not work in this case. your issue is not about if your father can live without you, but if you can live without him. if the answer is yes, then spending less time with him may be better for your mental health. also, you don’t need to cut ties immediately completely. you can do that gradually to see if it is the right decision for you.
